Spring Swimming >
Each Spring, the Euclid Marlins offers 6 to 8 weeks of swimming practice during the
months of April and May. The actual start date is determined each year in January or
February. As soon as the date is known, it will be published on the Web Site. Spring
Swim will always end on the Friday before Memorial Day weekend.
Spring Swim is intended to allow swimmers to refine their strokes and prepare
themselves for participation in the Summer Recreation Swim League.

Spring Swimming Details
Spring Swimming.
 | For 2008, Spring swimming swill start Monday April 1 and end Friday, May 23. | |
| The session will thus be 8 weeks long. | ||
| Practice will be at the Euclid High School Varsity Pool from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm | |
| Monday through Friday. | ||
| Spring swimming is designed to allow swimmers to get ready for the Summer | |
| Recreation Leagues. Both Euclid and other Suburban Recreation League swimmers are welcome. | ||
| For those who are interested, we are planning on going to one USA Long Course | |
| Meet this year on May 10. See the following link for information. | ||
| John Elliott, head coach for Euclid High School, the Euclid Marlins USA Swim | |
| Team, and the Euclid Suburban Recreation team will be leading the Spring Swim. We will also have 2 or 3 other coaches assisting John (probably Jason or Audrey). | ||
| For Euclid Residents, the fee for the 8 week session will be $85.00 for the 1st | |
| swimmer, $75.00 for the second swimmer, and $65.00 for the third swimmer in the family. 4th swimmer and beyond are free. | ||
| For Non-Euclid Residents, the fee for the 8 week session will be $95.00 for the | |
| 1st swimmer, $85.00 for the second swimmer, and $75.00 for the third swimmer in the family. 4th swimmer and beyond are free. | ||
| If a swimmer is not already a member of USA Swimming, then an additional | |
| $26.50 per swimmer will be charged to cover the cost of insurance for the swimmer while they are swimming at the pool. | ||
| Registration for Spring Swimming occurs during the first two weeks of practice. | |
| Forms will be available from this Web Site or next to the parent's mailbox's. You can give the completed form along with the check to either Coach Eliott or Dave Mohnke, the Treasurer. It can also be placed in the Treasurer's folder in the parent's mailbox. | ||
