About Us >
The Euclid Marlins are a USA Swim Team who are a members of LESI (Lake Erie
Swimming Inc.). The head coach for the team is John Elliott, who is also the head
coach for the Euclid High School Swim Team.
The Euclid Marlins were formed by Coach John Elliot in order to provide swimmers
an opportunity to receive training in all of the competitive strokes with an eye toward
learning to swim in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. The team would like to prepare
swimmers for a successful High School career and view swimming as a lifelong
activity.
The Euclid Marlins follows the Short Course Season from September through the
first week of March each year.
We also have a Spring Session were the emphasis is to prepare the swimmers for
the various recreation teams for their summer season.
In 2008, we added a Summer out door session for HS or College Swimmers who
wish to swim year - round.
The 2011-2012 Short Course Season will mark the start of our 9th season.
